MAJOR CONTRACT OPPORTUNITIES: U.S. Department of Commerce Commercial Acquisition for Transformational Technology Services (CATTS) Contract $1.5 Billion Task Order Potential

BACKGROUND:  The Department of Commerce estimates release of the CATTS enterprise-wide solicitation on August 23rd, 2021. The Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) is seeking contractors to support their vision of leveraging Cloud-based platforms delivering IT “as-a-service” in support of solutions that align with the OCIO Strategic Plan and Technical Statement of Direction.

Some of the bureaus and offices to be supported include:  Bureau of Industry and Security (BIS), International Trade Administration (ITA), Economic Development Administration (EDA), Minority Business Development Agency (MBDA), the Office of the Secretary (OS) and the National Telecommunications and Information Administration (NTIA) among others.  Geographical requirements include both Continental U.S. (CONUS) and Outside Continental U.S. (OCONUS).

TASK AREAS:  CIO Support, Digital Document and Records Management, Managed Service Outsourcing and Consulting, IT Operations and Maintenance, IT Services Management and Cybersecurity.
