GovFlex is actively seeking government contractors, independent experts, and 1099 freelance consultants with backgrounds supporting DHS information technology programs and/or related support contracting requirements.       

DHS FirstSource III will be a major IDIQ contract for commercial IT products and services, following the previously awarded FirstSource II contract. According to Bloomberg Government DHS spent nearly $2.7 billion on 41 contracts held by 31 small businesses under FirstSource II.

The DHS Office of Procurement Operations (OPO) intends to issue the FirstSource III solicitation as a small business set-aside with five (5) separate tracks:  8(a), HubZone,  Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), Women-Owned Small Business (WOSB), and the final track will be set aside for all small businesses.

The scope of this contract is to provide DHS with a full array of value-added reseller services and access to a wide and renewable variety of IT commodities and hardware and software solutions from multiple sources that will compete via delivery order competitions.  DHS may require managed IT services solutions that combine IT support with proactive monitoring of IT workstations and infrastructure.
